Finnmark Kraft, Havøygavlen
Project manager (2007-2011). Havøygavlen in Finnmark, 15 Nordex N80 turbines and 1 SWT 3.0 direct drive wind turbine. Roadmap to fix Havøygavlen – in team; rising the poor availability, performance and break downs to an acceptable level (availability from around 77 to 92%). Excellent learning park for offshore growth.
Hywind, Statoil
First operation and maintenance manager, full scale floating wind turbine Hywind (2.3 MW) outside Karmøy. Efficient and safe start up, new turbine controller.
Sheringham Shoal, Statoil.
Sheringham Shoal (participated within the project at an early stage from operations, until Hywind as the first mover in Statoil was taking most focus).
Havøygavlen, Statoil and Finnmark Kraft
Havøygavlen; In arctic climate at the shoreline of the Barents Sea and the North Pole next. “If we can make it here, we’ll make it anywhere” was the slogan, taken from the famous song. Turbine specialist.
Disruptive technology at early stage; turbine technology enabling Statoil business in Hywind Scotland, Dudgeon and Arcona and more to come.
